Utopia Station located north east of Alice Springs, Australia, Gracie Morton Pwerle was born,. Gracie, comes from a long line of Artists, starting her painting journey in the 1970s with Batiks, moving to canvas in the 1980s.

Gracie uses traditional dotting and lines in her work and beautiful colour variation to represent the seasonal changes of plants.

Gracie's work depicts Arnwekety (Bush Plum and Bush Medicine, traditionally used in the Aboriginal Culture for the Alyawarre and Anmatyerr people).
